Implementing ICT in Unit Plans

As an incoming primary school teacher and looking forward to the second assignment I had a deep hard think about what type of ICT I can implement.  My specialisation is PE and within primary PE and the circuits that the PE teachers are on in my experiences ICT isn’t put in a high regard until High school.  With this in mind, I have decided to adopt a second interest of mine for my assignment and that is nature where I explored endangered and extinct animals.  This subject I believe all students should become aware of as it’s the impact of generations of human impact putting nature to the sword in terms of life.  The ever growing trends of what should be taught in school such as sexualisation of women, teaching about the results of one punch and banning Easter being in the headlines lately, what ever happened to teaching students how to live through their daily lives in a clean environment?  Something as basic as installing the awareness of picking up after ourselves and keeping a clean environment is something we have forgotten as a society how to do.  This is the link to the introduction I use in my unit plan and something that should be installed into the schooling system as awareness for the less vulnerable is being forgotten.
